Daily contemplations affirmation meditations -
The Spirits of Health and Wealth.
What would make you happy ? True and lasting Happiness.
The Answers are right in front of us all the time...?
The World is in a panic or so it seems...and in a hurry: it's a race...
A race for this and a race for that: the media proclaims a "War" on this and a "War" on that:
"The War on Drugs..."
"The War on debt..."
"The War on...fill in the blank..."
Everything it seems is a "War" and a Race: The "Arms Race..." the "Human Race..."
alot of Racing around - right ?
Race. Race Race....Kaboom...
Crash - BOOM! -pow - alof of noise: Noise in your mind - Is your mind in your head ?
The Noise seems to center there - perhaps our ears and nose and third chakra needs some protection: Asecetics - Shamen and mystics tell us that our "Higher Centers" are located around the head...the Eyes:
Anger and Frustration: Happiness and Money - It all seems so confusing...
War and conflict - racing all around - trying to get this and that in our corner so we can "Win..."
?????
What we really crave is Love. Validation. Comfort. Sanity. Peace. Peaceful surroundings...
Safety. A sense of belonging. A sense of contributing.
A sense of having...A sense of being connected...
"Happiness is mandatory..."
??
So heres the facts so to speak: We get all these messages to get this or get that:To aquire and Consume: from advertising: from our peers, from our parents, from the "Modern World..."
Were trying to fit in - be "Normal..." yet stand out and get noticed and praised above all others all at the same time:
The World demands we "fit in" yet also stand out to gain achievement: To win the Race....yes We HAVE to WIN the race before everything "Falls apart..."
The World is running out of everything and it seems there is not enough of anything to go around...
Dictators and Mad men run the world in other parts of the country - and we are at "War" with them...on and on and on and on...
You turn on the television: and see all the "beautiful people" the Stars - wearing exspensive clothes and doing fabulous and "glamourous" things - going to all the best parties - the "A-List" people...
We are we in the middle of this "Mad World..." ??
Trying to fit in so were not freaks - ? trying to be Normal while we also stand out and make our mark in the world - so we can get all the money and the cash and the prizes...and the love and accpetance....
The World wants us to be Normal but it's not exactly a "Normal World..."
and where is our health in all of this :

We see the people on TV - they are happy - they are eating things and when they eat corporate food - then suddenly they become very "Happy...."
"Oh wow!"
I ate this food - and just like magic now - they are having fun and are happy - wheeee! Everything is so good when I buy this product or eat the corporate food - I feel like a winner -
Stop.
Take a breath.
Recall your mind.
Your every sense and your mind has been manipulated in every way imaginable -
We wanna "get High" - We want to get away - we want it all to stop...
The more we demand of ourselves the more we "Crave..."
We crave and we want: and this wanting becomes our mind - becomes our meditation - becomes our "Mantra..."
Always wanting and so it seems never having - never arriving at "Happiness..."
It's psychotic. It's fragmented. It's frustrating...
It's painful....
We begin to live in anger - Anger and frustration - We begin to think that our anger is our power - Anger and frustration - needs medication ?
I haven't even touched upon how our sexuality and sexual personaes and sexual centers are preyed upon and manipulated everyday - all day long....
All the Ads have one thing in common - they are designed to prey upon your pleasure centers: Ill get sex if I have this car - go to this place or even eat corporate food - I'll meet the man or woman of my dreams and I'll finally get "Happy"
The grand Illusion.
Many of us never stop to stop: just stop and say thank for what we have - in some or even most areas of our lives we take basic human necessities for granted:
the spirit of health and wealth...
Does the spirit of harmony live inside of you ?
Does the Spirit of health or happiness reside in our hearts or homes ?
Go and stare at your television/ plasma LCD Tv - star at it while its turned off:
Look at it - its a piece of plastic - dusty - cold and lifeless: It has become our Higher Power - and everyone on it is our Higher Power - when it's turned on all the people look beautiful - and the food looks so good - and everyone os having fun on tv - having fun or being murdered killed or maimed or raped....
right ?
and the politicians are fighting and stealing all the money and ranting and raving -
Can we allow God or some true Higher power - to take care of our needs ?
what will make us happy ?
We see now that buying something brings some gratifications - for a few minutes but then the frustration returns - the craving returns
the always wanting returns and it is a bottomless pit !
and so is our suffering - ouch !
We begin the day in Gratitude - We say: "thank you for my mental health - my Spiritual health - my Physical health - thank you for my Sanity and Sobriety and Solvency...
we pull back and detach from the total insanity - and we stop racing and running -
I'ts never too late and there is always plenty of time -
Time is not running out - We are safe and God is taking care of our lives...
We turn it all over because without Divine help - It is too much for us...
Be right here - Right now - and let it all stop -
What will make us happy ?
Things do not have any life in them to fill us up in a way that doesn't run out...
In people we get filled up in the way that can last - we connect to epople and their lives an this is whats real....and this is what keeps us mentally and spiritually healthy -
At the beginning of the day can we say to ourselves or God - I want to help as many people as I can - ?
Some things to ponder - and contemplate -
Now Re-boot - and Upgrade your mind -
whats going to "Make you Happy" ??
your Joy is inside of you - and your wealth is living in a state of humility and gratitude -
The pressure of off - No. Its not a race - It's an experience...
