Kirk's Contemplations, affirmations, Meditations for May 25th, 2011. Questions: Is the world in a constant state of drama and truama? Life is a process of ? what ? What is your life a process of - or a process of becoming ? Can we really - truly just: "Ask and Receive" ? Where are you going and what are you doing ? Can we have an entire day where we walk thru the day "detatched" ? where we can be in the world but not of the world ? The Birth trauma: Is being born a traumatic experience that we never get over....? Military Officials like to speak of: "Shock and Awe" they say they will make the enemy have "Shock and Awe..." Are we all in shock from the dramas we have seen in the media....? It seems as if life and or the media likes to show us extreme images - of violence - war - destruction - pain - fear - aggression, life can be truly extreme... How can we create peace or even be peaceful when we live in a violent culture...
